It was extremely poorly packaged; the box was literally falling apart upon arrival. It came UPS, but I believe the warehouse was just as responsible for the damage. One piece of tape on the bottom was not enough to hold the bottom securely. I would suggest that somehow the statue is looked at before the package is accepted. It was very disappointing. Only disappointing thing was that I ordered two, one for each of my daughters, and just received one. Then they were out of stock and it's still on backorder. I can assure you both my wife and I had been looking high and low for a 24" or so tall statue of Saint Francis. Most of them came in the form of St. Francis holding a bird bath which did not exactly match our pre-conceived notion. This statue by Echo Valley matched perfectly what we really wanted; and I do mean "perfectly". Finally, we expected a 2-week ship time and it arrived in 4 days; furthermore, it arrived un-scathed for which we are eternally grateful. Rating - PERFECT MASTERPIECE!
