Read More Rating - Value for the $ I bought this as a house-warming present for a friend, and though they're not the classic Henckels knives, for the money they are definitely a good buy. Good heft, very sharp and for the low-key cooking she's going to do I expect them to give her very good service. Rating - Inexpensive Knives This is the third set of Henckels International Everedge knives I have purchased. They are used in a corporate work environment & for the price have served us well. They have retained their edge while being used for basic breakfast/lunch employee prep. Rating - Decent Set Not a high end quality knife set at all, and the knife block is not fitted to the knife set very well. On the other hand the set is sharp, and well rounded variety of knifes. Rating - Amazon's description misstates the size; it's smaller Amazon's product description states: Product Dimensions: 15.4 x 8.9 x 5.3 inches I was concerned that because of the stated height it wouldn't easily fit under the light above the kitchen counter.
