- unabble to use center channel speaker with this producxt
i am unhappy with this product. i have been unable to use the center channel for center channel speaker. i have tried everything. new wiring,new product. new speaker this center position does not work. the speakers work well. i have sony b3000 speakers connected. they work fine.sorry that this review takes a negative view. i am still under warranty. i am probably sending it back. i wonder if anybody has some suggestions?

- Excellent choice at a low price
Installing the product is extremely easy, thanks also to stickers to name each cable or device linked to the receiver (simple but great idea).
Output level is far above the receiver I had before (Aiwa) which makes my JBL set sound terrific.
Remote control is complete, however is good to take a look at the instruction manual as some of the commands are not so intuitive.
I was also able to pair some of the devices I have into the remote control, but not all of them... (a DVD from Gradiente is not working).
Zone 2 also works perfect, and independent from he rest, as it is my case I can watch a DVD in my TV room and have a CD playing in the living room at the same time.
I do not have HDMI connections (I read some of the people who have them complained a little), so for me it is an excellent choice at a very affordable price.

Everything I needed for a small room and simple system. Sounds great with Polk RM688 speakers and sub. Best value as personally determined by extensive research.

- from a seniors perspective
over the last 30 years i have had experience with 6 or 7 receivers. this onkyo is by far the best i have enjoyed. the audessey equalizer automatically tuned my speakers for some terrific sound.this is not a complicated setup.the sound maximiser means you don't need to readjust volume levels nearly as often as i had to before.price was very good.much thanks to onkyo,and amazon.
