Rating  - Strathwood adjustable beach chair
I find this chair to be exactly as advertised. It is a little heavy to carry to the beach, but I can manage. Very comfortable. I have recommended this chair to others.
Rating  - Comfortable and well constructed - good purchase
The chair is well worth the money. Comfortable and well made, it definitely serves it's purpose. My only gripe is it's a bit too heavy to lug to the beach. Unless you're going to a beach where the parking lot is very close to the beach, I'd bring a different chair.
Rating - Lovin' the new chair
I recently purchased the Strathwood Adjustable Beach and Pool Lounge Chair, and I am very pleased. I love the color (lime), and the chair is very comfortable. I recently had knee surgery so was having a lot of difficulty sitting on my normal, run of the mill lounge chair. This chair is at just the right height, so it is very easy to get in and out of it.
The box it was delivered in was pretty banged up, and I saw from other reviewers that that had happened to a few people.
Also, this is an adjustable chair, but the directions do not come with the shipment. You have to go online to get the directions. Not complicated, but you do have to adjust things on both armrests, which was something new for me.
The price was reasonable, and I would recommend this chair to my friends.
Rating - Get Comfy on the Beach***
I have had this chair about a month now and have taken it to the beach three times. Is so comfortable! It is a bit heavy to carry but it's well made. The only negative about the chair is that the locks on the arms sometimes slip if you do not check that they are secure. (I really pinched my hand) That is the reason for four instead of five stars. I expect to have this chair for many summers to come!!!
Rating  - Chair "Slips" back
After reading all of these glowing reviews I was looking forward to receiving my chairs. Unfortunately, you have to sit rather gingerly to avoid having the chair back "slip" backwards from the more upright positions. I do weight 215 lbs, but this also happens on my 160 lb wife. The locking mechanism is not strong enough for us.
