- Picture no snow and the enthusiasm dies.
Now the tagline on this DVD is something along the lines with 16 top riders and a talented crew get together with one of the worst winters on record....not exactly the most inviting invitation to view a snowboarding movie. There are some great stunts, some fantastic photography and some inventive angles, but the lack of snow seems to have dented the enthusiasm of everyone. I'm a big fan of MDP, but really this is the result of a poor season of snow. Compare 'Picture This' with 'Follow Me Around' and it doesn't compare. Lots of pictures of snowboarders enjoying themselves (including Jussi Oskanen throwing himself 'gleefully' into the frozen Pacific off the coast of Alaska), and an inspired soundtrack - the use of Dolly Parton's 'Joelene' when they get "six feet of fresh" in Chile is awesome. My advice would be to invest in something more inspired like 'Follow Me Around', 'Pop' or 'More' which give you the 'Joie D'vivre' that snowboarding brings.

LOVE IT. Its beautiful to watch. The footage is amazing and the music is perfect!. Only wish it was a little longer though.
