I turned the volume up all the way and still it was way too low,,sent it back..
Rating - Needs better ear customization
In general, the headset works as advertised. However, the speaker doesn't fit close enough to my ear canal, resulting in my having to push on the headset while I'm using it to force it further into my ear -- most annoying. A friend had the same problem and suggested that I fit it with a Jabra eargel. Haven't tried this yet.
I would strongly suggest that Aliph provide more variations on the ear cushions that they supply with this unit.
Rating - One of the Best out there...............
I drive tractor trailers for a living so trust me when I tell you this is one of the best out there at the moment.....I've been through about 4 or 5 different models,in the last 6 months, and the "JAWBONE" works pretty well.....fits great, and comes with several different earbuds....but in the same breath....very hard to get on your ear....put it on, and leave it on....you'll get used to it...if you try to put it on while driving---you'll miss the call.....a little pricey as well, but now its the law, and the ticket costs more, so what can you do?......fabulous when driving my personal car, but I do have some sound issues while driving tractor trailers.....Charges fast.....lasts forever......biggest drawback is the voice-recognition....if you rely heavily on VR......this model is not for you......awful in that category.....but as far as sound quality, ease of use...THE BEST......also very comfortable......no other BLUE TOOTH, has stayed in place as well....always has been an issue for me......most other models if I bend over or turn my head quickly---I would lose them...but with the JAWBONE...it's always there.....comes in a really FANCY box as well....could they save some money there?....Also I dont understand the "NOISE SHIELD" button.....you can turn it on and off?.....I never want noise.....Just make it permanetly on.....they could probably save a few bucks with that pointless feature as well......and while Im at it...the range says 33 ft....True it will stay connected for 33 feet, but thats about it.....Heck I've gotta take it out of the case and put it in my shirt pocket while I'm on a call....Seems the leather case turn to "CRYPTONITE" with this earpiece.....hummmm????now I'm wondering....do I like this thing????....oh well....its the best out there still.....
Rating - Perfect Solution
I live in California where in July it will become illegal to hold a cell phone while driving. I have the ic902 with the Sprint/Nextel service. The Aliph Jawbone Bluetooth Headset was very easy to pair with my phone. The reception is as clear as or better then the handset and callers at the other end can't tell I'm using hands free. If that weren't enough I am able to use voice recognition dialing as well as the Nextel direct connect both hands free.
I would happily recommend to my friends. I have been using it for over three weeks now and drive over 1000 miles a week.
