- So Much For High Tech
When I was a kid, My grandmother made great food on a coal stove in cast- iron pots. For 50 years I used pots coated with one miracle non-stick stuff or another and they all pealed and cracked. Now I spent a couple of dollars and am making food like grandma use to make without eating God-knows-what pealing from the pans. They are easy to take care of and if you pay attention, they are non-stick.

This set is great! As can be expected, the largest is heavy and will give your wrist a workout if you are carrying it to the table, but for the price and given that they heat quickly and evenly and SHOULD last a long time, you can't go wrong!

You get what you pay for. These pans burn food, cannot be seasoned and are generally poor for any kind of cooking.

This set is a steal at he price that I paid. I could not even get a non stick generic pan for this price. Also with the fear of teflon releasing chemicals at high heat these are a no brainer.
