Works great. Keeps our hardwood floors clean and has no problem climbing up on throw rugs.

One of the accessoreies was defective and the company replaced it with just an email.

- works good-not durable enough!
Got it for Christmas and was in need of repair in 3 months. Too soon for an appliance that costs over $200. Would keep stopping and say it was in need of cleaning of the brushes even though we did an full cleanup of filter and brushes.
Works great on hard floors picking up dog hair and dirt. Does ok on rugs but you still have to use a real vacuum to get your rug cleaned properly.
You have to get the accessory that keeps the robot in one room otherwise it will keep going all over you house and no room will get done before the battery runs down.
This is a "nice to have" appliance but costs too much for the durability it comes with. Probably great toy for a busy person who can save some time cleaning his small apartment. For a real house, you should not plan on retiring your vaccum .

- Love the Roomba
I have had this about a month now. It is great! It is easy to take apart for cleaning. The virtual walls are easy to use and work well. The cliff sensor is quite impressive, hasn't fallen down the stairs yet. My floors are cleaner than they have ever been. I use the product several times a week (pet free home). It works on tile, hard wood and carpeting. If it gets stuck it sounds a tone to tell you. If you aren't there it will power down. The Roomba has made my life easier. I can go outside, play with the kids, etc. without feeling guilty that I should vacuum the house. I really, really love the Roomba. At times I wish I'd spent the extra money and gotten the model that allows you to program its cleaning times. Overall, we are very happy with our Roomba.

- Bad product service
I purchased Roomba 5 month ago, the cleaning head broke 1 month ago. I have been calling customer support for 3 weeks and they still tell me they don't have the replacement part in stock and they don't know when they will have it. They need get the part from oversea. Legally they can let me wait forever for that part to come. I spend $300 on the Roomba and it only worked for 4 month. Don't buy it. Plus, you have to spend a lot of time to clean the brush. The machine's brush is very sensitive.
