Rating - Jabra BT8010 Bluetooth Headset
I'm purchase two Jabra BT8010 Bluetooth Headset. one works okay the other doesn't work properly. I'm not satisfied.
Rating - Good quality and plenty of features
The Jabra is a good stereo headset for playing music on my cell phone. Also use it to connect to my PS3 as well with no problems. Its not the prettiest thing to wear both headsets although I feel its good if you want stereo sound without being too obtrusive.
You can detach the extra headset to make it mono sound which I think is a plus for driving in the car. You can't do that with other stereo headsets typically. You can connect 2 different devices as well as save a contact list in the headset itself to make calls from. Also can change my music tracks from the headset, I practically don't need to pull my phone out of my pocket! I gave it four stars because its visually unappealing to me when you have both headsets on although the tech savvy will think they have found gold.
Rating - Best amazon purchase ever
for a discount price this blue tooth is a huge sucess,
easy to use, good sound quality,
Rating - If not for the uncomfortable fit, would be 5 stars
The Jabra BT8010 headset has some really useful features. The LED display, which can show caller ID info, and the vibrate function are very useful. I haven't actually tried the device in stereo mode yet, as I don't have a phone that can play music.
The battery life is outstanding compared to other headsets I have used. I recharge my phone 2-3 times for every time I charge this device. Also, the battery indicator is the most useful of any rechargeable device I've ever used. Whereas most seem to show 100%, then very quickly they drop to 0%, this one gradually progress from 100% to 0% as the battery drains.
When used as a Bluetooth phone headset, the sound quality is average to above average, for both the you and the person to whom you are talking. I like the auto-volume leveling feature in principle, but since I'm usually at the loudest volume, in a noisy environment, it is already pegged.
My biggest complaint about this unit is the way it fits, or rather doesn't fit in my ear. Even though I have rather large ear canals, with this device, I have two options, neither or which are acceptable. First, I can jam it in my ear, which is very painful and I can tolerate for only 5-10 minutes. Second, it hangs precariously off my ear, and will fall with even a gentle head turn. Whose ear did they design this for, Bigfoot's? If not for this unforgivable flaw, I would love this headset.
