Rating  - So far so good
I have only had this grille for a couple of weeks but so far all is well. Assembly was easy, all parts were present and free of defects. It did take me about 4 hours to assemble.
The weather here has not been that good so I have only grilled about 6 times. I have done all the staples, hamburgers, hot dogs, ribs and steaks. This grille does not flare up like my old one so cooking was a bit slower yet more even and nothing burned.
At this point I am very pleased with this unit.
Rating - excellent grill for the price
I have had this grill for about 2 weeks, so far I am very impressed. Paid $250.00 on amazon with shipping and could not be happier.
Assembly:
6 beers and about half a pack of smokes and I had this bad boy together. As long as you actually read and follow the directions you should not have a problem. Just unwrap everything spread it out in the garage and keep the little nuts and bolts in order (they come in nice labeled packaging)and you will be fine. about 3 hours depending how serious you are...
Size:
its big and its sturdy when put together. Rolls nicely on it wheels....the cover feels nice and tough when you open it, not flimsy thin metal. The look of the grill is great imo...
Grilling:
spreads out the heat very good and cooks things evenly, and it gets reall HOT if you want it too. Large cooking area, had about 20 people over and had this thing packed with food. You can cook ALOT of stuff at one time. Clean up seems easy, removable drip tray underneath and the the grilling grates are very nice. When I turn the grill on I crank the heat all the way up and let the thermometer go all the way up, anything on the grates basically turns to ash and you can just brush it off easily. I used the side burner once and it seems to do the trick, not sure how much a person actually will use that.
Overall:
If you can get this grill for under 300 bucks is well worth the buy. Anything more than that and I would have gotten a name brand all stainless steel. We'll see how it holds up over time, I could see this rusting pretty quick and the black paint scratching easy but I am just guessing at this point. The short time I have had it and I used it about every other day I am loving it and would recommend it to anyone.
Rating - Great grill for the money, but....
This is a very solidly constructed grill, but putting it together was tough. I bought the grill as a birthday present for my Dad, and we both put it together. Now, we're not clueless when it comes to working with tools and putting together, but I gotta say the instructions that came with it could have been better written with clearer pictures. Also, there are a ba-zillion Nuts, lock washers and bolts that that hold this baby together. That said, once it's together it's a great grill with lots of cooking area. The side burner is nice to have as well.
Rating - great bar-b-que
should be real handy with tools to assemble bottom cart all though when done is very strong.will take at least two hours or more if done right. this is a very good unit. castors work good and lock, cabinet doors hang right and close perfect, burners function right and bar- b-que is easy to clean. grill and covers over burners easy to remove and clean. has tray under burners with grease tray under that and it slides out from rear for easy cleaning. also it cooks great. im 72 years old and have had several bar-b-ques. have cooked on it appox ten times. -bought in nov,07 on sale for $ 199.99 great deal. this is a large bar-b-que.sonny morrison 12/3/07
