- Very Disappointed
I bought this as a gift for my mother for her 60th Birthday. First of all it took forever to get to me - it did not make it in time for her birthday - perhaps I am naive, but 1 1/2 weeks seemed a little long for shipping.
Then when she got it, her brand new iPod nano (that she just got for her above mentioned 60th) did not charge on the docking station. And you have to be about 2 inches away from it for the remote control to work. Okay a little exaggerated - but really about 2 feet or less.
So, needless to say I am returning this item and finding something better for my mother. I have to say - it does have good sound. I will give it props for that. But when two out of the three things I wanted it for (charging and the remote) didn't work, the nice sound quality just wasn't enough.
I do also have to say that the woman I spoke to when I called to find out where my item was, was very plesant. I guess when it takes so long to ship a subpar item you have to have good customer service. :)
If you have an older iPod and don't care about the remote (or how long it takes to ship to you) then this would be an adequate purchase. I however, was not a happy consumer.

I purchased this Ipod speaker dock for my office. It meets all expectations and could easily fill a much larger area with big accurate sound. For the price of a cheap unit, I received a real speaker system from a real speaker company. The quality is evident and I would highly reccomend it for what it is.

I've tried a few of the klipsch ipod speaker docks before and this one is the best by far. It has great sound and volume. I've taken it to alot of gatherings and everybody that hears it wants one, too.

- exceeded my expectations
I recently purchased this product and I LOVE it!!! It sounds amazing and I can use it with my ipod or my creative zen mp3 player with the included J cup. The only thing I had a problem with was the J cup at first. It did not say anything in the instructions but you have to turn the volume up on the mp3 player and the station to raise the volume enough. Once I figured that out it was perfect. My brother paid 3 times this much for a Bose and said mine was just as good!!! I found the reviews to be representative.
