Rating  - A classic and powerful John Williams score
John Williams "Raiders" score, the best of the trilogy, helps propel the adventures of Indiana Jones in search of the "Lost Ark", the best movie of the trilogy. The "Raiders March" speaks to you of danger, adventure , and excitment. It gets your adrenaline flowing. Tracks 9,12, and 13 are my other favorites. You find yourself reliving each scene from the movie. This is one of John Williams best works!
Rating - More than a soundtrack
The soundtrack to Raiders of the Lost Ark is more than motion picture music. Each selection can stand on its own as a musical work. You neednt have seen the movie to understand and appreciate the music. If you like beautifully written music or have seen the movie, you will most certainly enjoy this CD.

I bought it a couple of months ago and loved it. The map room at dawn is the best. John Williams is by far the best composer ever.

Film music is an essential and integral part of my life. And John Williams'music has always been with me, since childhood. And especially during childhood. "Raiders of the Lost Ark" is the film on which I embarked in my greatest adventure of all. Just as Indy, and with John's music as a background for me, I was there, in a South America jungle, looking for an Idol, in a dark, dangerous temple; I was flying to different places around the world, from Peru, to Nepal, and to Cairo; I explored the Well of the Souls, trying to discover the secrets behind the Lost Ark; and when I finally discovered it, I closed my eyes, just like Indy and Marion, and I survived. John Williams is responsible for all those wonderful and unforgettable moments I experienced when I was a kid, and still is responsible for new great moments of listening experience. Also, John is responsible for lots of contusion and one broken arm!
