Rating  - One of My Fav movies!
This is without a doubt one of my all time favorite movies.
The first time I saw it I was 10 years old. That was back in 98. I watched it every time they showed it on TV. And when I found it on DVD I got it right away.
This is a must see film. Michelle Pfeiffer plays the role of a teacher wanting to make a difference in some poor kids' lives. It might sound cheesy but you really have to watch the movie yourself and I'm sure everyone will be blown away by how great this movie is!
I don't give good reviews and that's why I never do it, but I just had to say something about THIS movie!
Rating - Wonderful, especially for those of us who have a passion to help our youths.
I love this movie and it has been a great inspiration to my teaching vocation. Thank you.
Rating  - The Difference a Teacher Makes
As in "To Sir, With Love" Michele Pfieffer becomes a teacher and gets handed the toughest class in the whole school. They give her a hard time at first, then she earns their respect. My only complaint would be some of the language, but an excellent choice for anyone who needs to be reminded that one genuinely caring person can make a difference in the lives of others.
Rating - Michelle Pfeiffer is the best actress to emerge from Tinsel Town.
Dangerous Minds starring the tough as nails Michelle Pfeiffer as ex-marine turned English teacher, Louanne Johnson is proabably her finest performance onscreen. Pfeiffer is such a raw, timeless actress. Her portrayals never seem fake or over-indulgent. How come she hasn't done a movie since 2002's White Oleander? Please come back to us Michelle, we love your incredible work. Dangerous Minds is kind of like To Sir with Love, Stand and Deliver and Blackboard Jungle but with a better plot and ending. I love her southern accent in the film, very cool! More than just a student/mentor film, this film is an under-rated gem, buy it as soon as possible.
